This is a two-year course, year one is the CACHE Technical Level 3 Certificate in Childcare and Education and the second year is the CACHE Technical Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator).
To achieve the CACHE Level 3 Technical Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) learners must complete 14 mandatory units and it will be internally assessed using a range of methods, which could include direct observation within the workplace, professional discussion, written assignments or tasks such as designing a leaflet and creating resources.
Learners will also be required to attend placement twice a week in a nursery or preschool setting to develop practical skills and complete Professional Practice unit.
Upon achievement of the Technical Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education it is intended that learners will be able to access higher education or enter the workforce as Early Years Educators. The Diploma enables you to gain the knowledge and experience which will allow you to work with children from birth to five years.
