We are excited to launch a series of Adult leisure course taster sessions, held at our Strode’s and Windsor College campuses.

Running at the end of April, the taster sessions present the perfect opportunity to explore a new hobby.

These sessions are open to everyone, whether you have previous experience or not, and will be led by our experienced course tutors.

Learners who enrol onto these taster sessions will be open to a 10% discount on one valid leisure course starting in the summer term. The closing date for this offer is Sunday 18 May.

WINDSOR COLLEGE

Digital Photography – Thursday 24^th April, 7-9pm. Cost £50

Do you want to learn how to take that eye-catching photograph? This taster session is an insight into how your camera works and how you can improve the standard of your photography.

Introduction to Counselling and Life Coaching – Wednesday 23^rd April, 6.30-8.30pm. Cost £50

This is a helpful introduction if you think you might want to become a counsellor or a life coach, have an academic interest in the skills required for both, or are just curious to know more about counselling and life coaching, and the differences between the two.

Introduction to Content Creation and Studio Lighting for photography and video – Wednesday 23^rd April, 6-8pm. Cost £50

Aimed at those who are needing to create great photographs or video content. Whether you are selling online or just interested in creating wonderful creative images of people or products this is the taster course for you.

Sew like a Pro – Wednesday 23^rd April, 6.30-8.30pm. Cost £60

Sew like a Pro taster gives you an introduction to using a sewing machine, learning different sewing techniques, understanding basic sewing patterns and learning basic cutting skills. Fabrics are included in the course fee.

Sew like a Pro – Dressmaking – Saturday 26^th April, 10am-12.30pm. Cost £60

A more thorough look into dressmaking skills, starting with selecting your own pattern, or you can challenge yourself by exploring a more complex design. Fabrics are included in the course fee.

STRODE’S COLLEGE

Drawing and Painting – Wednesday 23^rd April, 7-9pm. Cost £60

This taster is for anyone who wants to learn to draw and paint or to just improve their drawing and painting techniques. It also aims to improve students’ observational skills, eye-to-hand co-ordination and dexterity.
